Genworth will grant MI rescission relief for property value on loans with appraisals receiving a Collateral Underwriter Risk Score of ≤2.5, subject to Fannie Mae criteria (bulletin 2018-06). This change is effective with mortgage insurance applications received on or after October 8, 2018. We have also fully aligned with Freddie Mac's Selling Guide updates (bulletin 2018-05).
These changes will be reflected in our Underwriting Guidelines and other related collateral in the near future.
